Google traffic tactics using Web 2.0 and RSS
For those who are getting ready to make the transition from Old School to Web 2.0, one of the things you will have to learn to generte consistent, targeted traffic, is to understand RSS.
RSS is a feed that you can use to promote multiple web sites in conjunction to improve Google rankings and drive great traffic. There’s been a big misconception in this industry that would lead the average person to believe that building an online business requires nothing more than a web site and traffic. That’s not the truth. The bottom line is this… without the proper training and knowledge, success will be difficult for any undertaking, Internet based business or not.
There are several great teachers available, right now, who are more than happy to help you learn the right way to do things in the world of Web 2.0. Finding a good teacher is monumental in finding true success. Not all mentors are the same, so chose cafefully.
Here is a list of people you may want to Google and seek out… Dave Gorby, Rex Harris, Wes Wyatt, Jeremy Henderson, Karin Hiebert or Val Smyth. Any of the people mentioned here are capable of taking you to a level of success that is not obtainable without help and education. You will not become a millionaire signing up 3 people per month for potions, lotions, juices or bad information.
My dad told me as I was growing up, “Son, there is nothing in life worth doing unless your are going to do it right.” It’s the truth… determination without education equals foolishness. All of the drive and motivation in the world won’t do you any good with the “know how” to get the job done!
RSS, like anything, isn’t something to be pursued without adequate education. Attempting to market in the world of Web 2.0 can be a death sentence if you don’t know what you are doing. The one thing about Web 2.0, both good and bad, is that it is self governed, so to speak. In english… do or say something wrong in a forum, blog, video or article and it can be an instant career killer. The one thing social media is not, in most cases, is forgiving… so learn the right way to do things.
